For sale is a very rare 1969 Colnago Super, in original condition. This is my most. Barn find, but unfortunately it’s too small for me so i have to let it go. The bike was found full of dust and bird feathers, but it was dismantled and cleaned with alot of care. The frame is untouched: decals, paint and chrome are original. The bike had a sticker on the downtube, near the headtube lug, saying “SS Oltrarno”. The paint underneath it is brand new, so i belive Ernesto made the bike for the team SS Oltrarno from Florence, and the sticker was put on the frame when the bike was brand new. They were an important team from Italy, Gastone Nencini rode for them in the’50s. It has been raced heavily, it has alot of scratches and paint chips. However, the frame is very sound. One minor ding on the toptube, almost invisible. The components are very clean and have all the original parts, down to the smallest screw. Please feel free to contact me for more photos or infos. Frame – Columbus SL, Campagnolo dropouts, no serial number. 9 holes under the BB. Size – ST – 52 c-c, TT – 53 C-C. Colour: Molteni orange. Year: 1969 or january / february 1970 (pre Michele Dancelli’s victory in Milano San Remo, in march 1970). Handlebar: Cinelli Giro d’Italia, crest logo, 40 cm c-c. New Newbaum’s black handlebar tape. NOS white Cinelli – Milano handlebar ends, soft rubber. Stem: Cinelli 1A, 75mm, pre 1971 version. Cinelli Unicanitor saddle, black leather, padded. NOS Campagnolo toptube cable guides. Universal Super 68 brake levers with NOS universal hoods (not reproductions). Universal Super 68 brake callipers, with NOS Universal brake pads and pad holders (not reproductions). Campagnolo Nuovo Record headset, early “” version. Campagnolo Nuovo Record clamp on shift levers. Not the most elegant drilling ever, but they are the original shifters of the bike and i kept them as found. Campagnolo Nuovo Record front deraileur, no circlip. Campagnolo Nuovo Record rear deraileur, stamped “PATENT”. NOS Campagnolo rear deraileur cable housing, complete, with both housing ends. Campagnolo Nuovo Record bottom bracket. Campagnolo Nuovo Record crankset. No date on the crank arms. “Patent Campagnolo” dust caps and “Patent Campagnolo” chainring screws. First generation – old logo. Christophe black leather straps. Campagnolo clamp on shifter cable guide. NOS Campagnolo dropout adjuster screws. Campagnolo Record hubs, with complete, original quick releases. The rear hubs does not have the threading info stamped on it, so period corect for the bike. 5 speed Regina G.
