Chesini X-Uno Precision, cromovelata. Size: 52.5 cm. Bottom bracket shell thread: ITA. Weight: 9.6 kg circa. Tubes material: steel, Columbus. Group: Campagnolo Super Record and Campagnolo C-Record 1st generation. Rear derailleur is stamped “84”, both cranks are stamped “4” in a circle. All C-Record parts are 1st generation, including the ultra-rare headset. Handlebar: 42 cm end-end. Very little used bicycle in cosmetical excellent condition, some light signs of use and aging. Please refer to the pictures. No dents, no cracks, not bent. The bicycle wasn’t used for years and it needs a full service. It wasn’t disassembled to be checked so it could need the replacement of the consumable parts for example tyres, inner tyres, cables, cable tunnels, handlebar tape or grips, brake pads, straps, chain, sprockets, chainrings, bearings, etc… The wheels could be not true and they could need to be straightened or in some cases the rims need to be replaced. All the moving parts could need to be serviced. The bearings paths of all the moving parts could have nicks and they could need to be rectyfied or replaced. The decals could be in bad condition and tending to peel off easily. The bicycle could be a bit more dusty than it looks in the pictures due to stocking it for some time. Chesini Precision Bikes are well known for the incredibly detailed engravings on their frames and lugs, especially the headtube panto is very rare and almost unique to the brand. The Precision named bikes were only made for a few years and were top of the range. This one here is a real gem, a barn find, has not been used for about 20 year. It was found in a attic sitting next to a Pinarello Treviso. All the parts on the bike are original, as described by the previous owner, even the bar ends and leather cage straps, both are Chesini. The only thing changed was the saddle, it now has a NOS San Marco Profil saddle which mathces the bike perfectly made by a know high quality brand San Marco, is based on one of the best. Silhouette, the concor and was made a little bit more special, the gold rails on the bottom. The groupset is a full Campagnolo Super Record as expected but comes with some very interesting Pantographed parts, all of them are black which is very unusual for Campagnolo Super Record. All the componets listed below. Campagnolo Record downtube shifters (Chesini panto). Campagnolo Record brake calipers. Campagnolo Super Record front derailleur.
