An upper body return spring absorbs the energy of any bumps, preserving the hanger, and bringing the derailleur back to position. An aluminum upper body provides high resistance to impacts and greater stiffness. The lower part of the body is made of ultra-light technopolymer, reinforced with long carbon fibers.
