This is a wonderful Paul Taylor custom road bike. I spent years tracking down one in my size. He is one of the best modern builders in steel. As pictured, this is a 17.5lb steel bike… With my carbon tubs wheelset it was 16.6lb…. This is extremely light for steel. The ride is incredible. It is ready to race, but is comfortable on century+ lengths. This particular frame is True Temper S3 with sloping geometry. It has custom ovalized tubes as well. Very smooth, but stiff in BB. True Temper S3 frames are quite rare. The paint is a charcoal metallic that really gleams in the sun, but is subdued in shadows. I treated it with framesaver before the build up. No dents or cracks. Typical riding wear (yes, I ride it) with some chips and scuffs etc. Paul Taylor True Temper S3 steel frame. Full carbon Edge (ENVE) 1.0 fork. Thomson Elite X2 130mm stem. 3T Dorico LTD carbon 25mm setback post. 3T ErgoTeam carbon 44cm bar. New Lizard Skin Tape. New KMC black 11 chain. King Cage stainless bottle cages. Interloc seat collar and headset. Geometry (rides like a 56cm bike). TT effective 55.5. Stand over at center 31. To seat rail as pictured 730mm (I’m 6-1 with a 33 inseam). 27.2 post and English BB. Pedals and saddle are NOT included (nor is Garmin stuff). I can include an old San Marco saddle and platforms if desired.
