If your going to have one Italian bike in the stable it definitely should be Ferrari racing red. Rare Columbus steel bike from Italy. Campagnolo dropouts, beautifully constructed. Lugged main triangle with very nice fillet brazing on rear dropouts as well as fork. Even has a Cinelli bottom bracket with clover pattern cut-out! Handcrafted from steel, in my honest opinion you can’t find a more comfortable ride then a high end steel bike. Some surface rust in a couple spots(worst spot pictured underneath top tube) hardly noticeable unless you have bike flipped over and one small notable nick on side of top tube(hardly noticeable see close up pictures) other than that bike is completely straight and in beautiful shape. Like New Campagnolo super record wheelset Mavic MA-40 clincher hoops laced with wheelsmith spokes to super record hubs. New Specialized all condition armadillo 700x23c tires. Campagnolo nuovo record rear derailleur. Campagnolo two bolt 27.2 seat post. Campagnolo down tube friction shifters. Dura ace brake levers/hoods slr bl-7402. Dura ace brakes br-7402(rear brake missing little rubber o-ring which is replaceable) these get dry and fall off over the years. Super record front skewer, rear skewer is sr sakae and should be replaced at some point but it looks fine as is. Crankset is sr sakae aerox. Saddle is specialized body geometry(it’s ugly but comfortable). Stem is profile design h20 and also is ugly and should be swapped soon. Bars are Bontager race with ergo bends which are comfortable but don’t really “go” with bikes overall look. All these parts alone add up to quite a pretty penny but it’s a sweet bike and I would like for someone to enjoy it as it is. If your just going for a daily rider it’s fine now, but If your going for all period correct L’erocia style you really only need to swap bars, stem and saddle and you have a really sharp bike. If your a fan of handmade steel bikes and what it takes to build one this will be a treasure to own. Bike is complete tuned up and ready to ride, I would replace the quill stem and cinelli bar tape(hideous 80’s zebra pattern). I could definitely picture this baby with some nice brooks bar tape and matching saddle. It would definitely turn some heads and make some bike aficionados very jealous. Seat tube center to center is 53.5cm. Seat tube center to top is 54cm. Top tube center to center is 54cm. Stand over height from ground to over cable is 31.5 or 80cm. Thinking about 5’8 to about 6′ you should be very happy with fit. Currently work is very slow and I’m having to sell off some of my private collection of bikes and frames. I have been into bikes for nearly 30 years! Please message me with any questions you may have? I’m here to help..
