Here we present an exceptionally well-preserved Wilier Triestina Super Leggero road bicycle, with its original copper cromovelato finish. Really shines in the sunlight, with a depth of colour that you don’t see anymore. With the unusually short dropouts with six large cutouts in the bottom bracket shell, this bike is the cutting edge of Italian craftsmanship & remarkably lightweight. Made from Columbus SL steel tubing, it tips the scales at 8.6kg without pedals! One of the classiest bikes out there, dates from the early 1980s, and comes complete with a Campagnolo Super Record drivetrain, Campa Record wheelset, 3ttt Superleggero handlebar and Wilier pantographed black stem. Headset, with Wilier inscription. Even includes the Wilier bar end caps! Bar tape is double-wrapped black cloth, for comfort. Tyres are NOS, Italian-made, tubular Hutchinson Super Corsa, riding on FIR Quasar dark-anodised rims in good condition. They are not yet glued. If you would prefer a clincher wheelset, then just let us know and we can swap one out for you, with Campagnolo Record hubs and similar rims. Everything has been checked, and operates perfectly.
