This superb and fully pantographed 1983 Olmo with Columbus Air tubeset is a perfect addition to any collection of vintage race bikes, an ideal Eroica contender or just a nice bike to ride on and to decorate your wall when not in use. This bike comes not only equipped with a full Campagnolo Super Record groupset in show condition, it also features pantographed cranks, chainring, seatpost, shifters, brake levers and an engraved stem. Just look at the pictures – you will never get tired of admiring this superb and highly detailled frame, the elaborate decals and all these engraved Olmo logos, scripts and stripes in the colors of the Italian flag. This OLMO is in true show condition with near unmarked and all original Candy Red metallic paintwork, nice decals (the Columbus tubeset-decal is cracked) and NOS + period-correct Mavic MA40 rims. Other NOS parts recently added are the Munditalia saddle in black Suede leather, fresh Pirelli tyres with beige sidewalls and new bar tape. The frame is made from a mix of Columbus Air tubes and SL tubing for the main tubes. It also features internal cables routing for brake and shifting cables and the stunning Air fork – the frame is subsequently labled with an original Columbus air tube decal. Extremely nice lugwork and painted accents. Olmo pantographed fork, brake stay, rear seat stays and BB shell. Chromed fork and rear stays in perfect condition. Campagnolo drop-outs and rare Aero-style mounting of the shifters. This bike led a pampered life as part of the furniture – this Olmo was only barely ridden. It’s currently on display at Scampi Cicli in Zurich, I reccommend to go there and inspect the phantastic condition of the bike. This Olmo “la Biciclissima” is equipped with a full Campy Super Record groupset and other top-of-the-line parts: “OLMO ITALY” engraved Mexico-style Campagnolo Super Record cranks – re-profiled and milled, nicely pantographed out chainring with colored logos and OLMO lettering!!! Super Record pedals with new Alloy toe clips (non-Campy though) are supplied with the bike (not pictured) NOS 32 hole Mavic MA40 clincher rims, Campagnolo Super Record low flange hubs and skewers, new tyres. Super Record braze-on front derailleur and a truly perfect 2nd Gen. Rear derailleur OLMO pantographed and original Campy shifters with cupped washers period-correct Super Record 2nd Gen.
