DE ROSA Road Bike – Late’70s. 57 x 56.5 cm – Campagnolo Super Record – Silca for De Rosa Pump with Campagnolo Head (rare). This late’70s De Rosa Road bicycle is a highly collectable steel bicycle in original condition. The frame is a beautiful example of the skill and attention to detail put forth by De Rosa to produce steel frames. With finely shaped lugwork. With De Rosa pantographs, the bicycle has a fully chromed fork with the De Rosa heart pantographed on the fork crown. The Campagnolo Super Record groupset mounted on this De Rosa road bicycle is also a very rare and much sought after groupset; the chainring is pantographed “M” after the surname of the previous owner who had this bicycle custom made for them. Seatpost, and brake levers are drilled/milled. The bicycle also features a Cinelli 1R stem with a Cinelli Giro D’Italia handlebar, as well as an original Silca for De Rosa pump with a rare Campagnolo pump head. Decal on downtube of non-drive side is a little warped with age. Tubular tires will need to be changed if bicycle is to be ridden. See photos for details.
