A very rare, real Collector’s item and very hard to find. For sale this VINTAGE CAMPAGNOLO Road/Strada wheelset. The hubs are Low Flange Campagnolo 50th Anniversary Cinquantenario Super Record Strada hubs, with 32 holes from 1983. They are checked, mirrorpolished, and relaced. NO QUICK RELEASE SKEWERS included. The rims are the legendary MAVIC OR10 “ORO” 32 holes golden Tubular. These rims are NEW, NOS, never used. The OR10 is one of the most beautiful and highly hunted light tubular rim from Mavic’s range from the 80′-s. Their golden elox treatment made them standing our of the crowd, while the 1 mm thickness with Mavic’s leading edge technology yielded a light yet durable contruction with outstanding look as well as maximum comfort during your ride. These rims might have very-very slight minimal marks from the 30 + years of storage, and as you can see on the photos some corners of the original decals are a little bit peeling. I wanted to keep the absolute original look and appearance, but of course the next owner can fix it with a tiny drop of glue. If you want a featherlight classic wheelset for your vintage bike with extraordinary look, you do not have to look any further. Front wheel 699 grams! Rear wheel 778 grams!
