Steel spindle, but nevertheless this type of hubs has been used on Record and Super Record equipped bikes. In my opinion they are in good to very good condition with minor to regular signs of use. Front hub 28 holes! Rear hub 32 holes! 126mm rear spacing, 100mm front. Italian thread, unmarked, but I could easily screw on an Italian threaded freewheel. The hubs are made from Aluminum and steel. General condition is used with minor signs of use. They have not been opened and cleaned, but nevertheless they run very smooth. It is up to the next owner to open, clean and grease them from new if found necessary. There are minor signs of use and age, like tiny scratches and a bit of wear to the spoke holes.
