Campagnolo Super Record Chainrings 53T 42T, Set of Two, 144mm BCD, ca. Very good condition: these have been cleaned up to remove the grime on the teeth. Five arm bolt circle: 144mm BCD. I used these on a road bike and never let chain wear get too bad. I actually measured the last chains I used on these and the Park Chain Checker tool would not drop in on the. My strategy was to replace chains often to prevent changing the pitch on the chainrings and freewheel cogs. Chains are a lot cheaper than gears, so it makes sense to make them the sacrificial part. You can see that the pulling side of the tooth profiles still appear close to original and have little change in shape. I cannot guarantee these will not slip with a new chain for you, but I can’t remember having any problems with new chains. Y ou can see in the photos, the load-bearing side of the teeth still appears to have its original profile – which is definitely a good sign. For those sharp-eyed viewers, technically, that is not the correct envelope for the 42T ring. See my other listings for a Campagnolo Nuovo Record crankset and bottom bracket in separate listings, and for other cycling items.
