Even though very light and stiff, Titanium is still a very expensive material to work with. It’s guaranteed for life, doesn’t rust, and provides comfort that other materials may lack. During the mid 1990s , De Rosa built titanium frames for the Gewiss Ballan team that used Columbus Genius forks. I have decided therefore to try and built it as light as possible, using the best / lightest 1 carbon fork available and somehow close to that era (start of 2000s). Group set wise, I decided I will go for 11 speed group set, it had to be Campagnolo Super Record, first 11 speed edition from 2011. Very responsive and reliable group with the typical Campagnolo loud sound of the cassette. Campagnolo Zonda wheels for the moment, will probably be upgraded to Neutron.
