Modolo Kronos Brakeset, READ FULL DESCRIPTION. One of the most awesome brakesets ever made, 3000 sets made and still seeing them here and there. These brakes work great and look great but there are a few things. The calipers have a rubber “jacket” on them, one of those is misisng and that is what holds the Modolo M Emblem in, so one is as it should be, the other no jacket and the emblem needs to be put in somehow. It was previously wedged in with pieces of rubber. A dainty handed task. The brake calipers look amazing without the rubber jackets, theyre cool with the jackets but more sleek, aero, and lighter without them, so you may choose to remove the other or leave it since its on different sides of the bikes. The levers are ok and have the special ferrules in the back, the hoods are coming apart so if you plan on riding these, you would want new hoods, if its for display, theyre probably ok unless youre going for new look. The hoods have little nubs inside the hoods that go into the pivot bolts, these can be cut off as they pop out anyway. The original housing marked “Modolo SSC” is included but Im not sure how far its been cut down and it has a knick or 2 in it. We are including an NOS Professional set with the knurled ferrules and cable heads marked with modolo logo M.
